Orphans for Christ in Africa (OCA) is a   not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) whose purpose is to provide holistic care and support to orphans, disadvantaged children and youth and their communities in Uganda. We seek to  provide education, shelter, feeding programs, clothing, health care, life skills and vocational training, HIV/AIDS care and support, spiritual nourishment and educational sponsorships to orphans, vulnerable disadvantaged children aged 2-12 years, and disadvantaged youth aged 13-17 years, both  boys and girls.  To realize this goal, OCA seeks to work in partnership with individuals, families, groups, communities, churches, organizations, companies, friends and wel-wishers from all over the world, to implement child-focused, community oriented programs and projects that benefit all disadvantaged children and youth, regardless of gender, race, religion, political affiliation or disability .

 Tororo Children's Home

OCA has set up a new orphanage in the Tororo area of Uganda. The Home will house children OCA has been supporting for the last couple of years. The new home will provide a loving and caring environment where the children will be nourished under the loving care of OCA staff and volunteers, and they will have an opportunity to attend school. We at OCA are asking for your help to enable us fulfill our commitment to the children. We are calling upon individuals, families, groups, churches, organizations, companies, volunteers, friends and well-wishers, from far and near, to consider supporting these children, most of whom have lost one or both parents due to HIV/AIDS, and have no mature adult to care for them. The Home is aimed at improving the lives of the most impoverished orphan children and in the Tororo area of eastern Uganda.

We  are asking friends and well-wishers to consider supporting OCA's efforts to rescue orphaned children with financial or material gift or both, to enable OCA care for these children. Our current Computer Skill Training facility is very small. We are planning to relocate the OCA Computer & ICT Skill Training Center, from the current location to a more spacious facility within Kampala City. We are looking for short-term and long-term Volunteers to help teach ICT skills at our Computers Centers in Kampala and Tororo. We are also looking for volunteers to help with childcare and teaching at our Children's Home in Tororo. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail, phone or post.
